Exploring their Options

Thirty-nine booths were displayed as Lamar Community College hosted its annual Career Fair at the Wellness Center this past Tuesday, April 5. High school and college students, as well as members of the community were free to speak with business and academic representatives regarding their future career choices.
Vendors included internet technology, numerous health career options, media, military and law enforcement careers, investment services, food services, accounting, hospitality, cosmetics or additional academic options.
Each year, several hundred visitors have an opportunity to learn first-hand, the academic requirements for pursuing a career choice, and the chance to learn the ins and outs of a particular line of work.
