Take a Look, Buy a Book

The FRIENDS OF THE LAMAR PUBLIC LIBRARY invite you to their SPRING BOOK SALE Sunday through Wednesday, April 3 -6, at the Cultural Events Center.

The sale begins Sunday with the ‘Members only’ day from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Memberships for 2011 may be purchased at the Library or at the sale on Sunday.

The sale is open to the public on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am till 7:00pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Wednesday is the traditional ‘bargain day’ with remaining books sold by the bag instead of individually.

 Bring your donated books to the Center Thursday and Friday, March 31 and April 1. The Center will be open as the Friends will be setting up for the sale on those days. You may donate your books ahead of time at the Lamar Library during regular business hours.
