A Memorial Mass for longtime Lamar resident, Anne Oxley will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  A Rite of Committal and interment of the ashes will follow at Wiley Cemetery.

Mrs. Oxley was born on November 20, 1921 at Aitken, Minnesota to Felix Gustave and Nelida (Mailhot) Cormier and passed away at Juniper Village in Lamar on September 9, 2013 at the age of 91.

Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne on June 28, 1998, parents, her brother Phillip Cormier and a sister Renee Cormier.

She is survived by her children; Jamie (Shari) Oxley of Wiley, Gary (Patsy) Oxley, Errol Oxley, Karen (Bill) Nordyke, Gina (Steve) Young all of Lamar, Julie (Rod) Thomas of Wiley and Shawn (Kim) Oxley of Lamar. Anne is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as her siblings; Cecilia Venne of Virginia, MN, Marion (Bud) Ebert of Duluth, MN and Felix (Janey) Cormier of Clute, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends also survive.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice or Juniper Village direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Funeral Home.
